Rental vehicle damage protection
We'll help you arrange official MPI rental vehicle insurance through Coughlin Insurance, so you don't need a separate trip to MPI or an insurance office. You fill out Coughlin's authorization form, we send it over, and they issue your coverage. The cost is a $15 processing fee plus $3 per rental day, paid directly to Coughlin - we don't add any surcharge.

Reservation policy
Driver's license and credit card at pickup
Please bring a valid driver's licence and a credit card in the main driver's name to collect your vehicle. Both are required at pickup.
Refundable security deposit required
Your security deposit is collected at the rental counter and fully refunded within 30 days from the first day of your rental - provided no charges have been incurred during your rental period. This includes any traffic or parking tickets, tolls, fines, or other penalties billed to us as the registered owner after your rental has ended. The vehicle must also be returned with the same fuel level and in the same condition, inside and out, as when it was picked up.
Valid insurance coverage required
Every rental must be covered by valid auto insurance. If you are using your own insurance policy, you must present proof that your policy covers rental vehicles at the time of pickup. Alternatively, we can help arrange official MPI coverage through Coughlin Insurance when you pick up the vehicle.
